Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. is a champion of empowering youth in all areas of life. The organization sponsors the Swim1922 Essential Program which focuses on water safety and teaching youth how to swim. We would like to invite your students to participate in this fun and engaging event on Saturday, May 13, 2023.

Below you will find the registration links for our 2nd Annual Splash Bash, which is targeting children ages 6 -12 years old (boys and girls are welcome). We are excited to have U.S. Olympian and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. member Maritza McClendon who will be joining us and conducting the water safety clinic at Southern Pines Water Park in Dublin. Youth will have an opportunity to take pictures with Mrs. McClendon, hear her story of how she became the 1st African American woman to make the U.S. Olympic Swim Team and medal, and take pictures with her.

We would love for you to share this information with your parents of students, age ranges 6 – 12 years old.

There are two swim sessions available in which parents can choose from.

Registration is on a first come, first served basis until both sessions are filled.

Link 1 is for the 10:00 a.m. session

Link 2 is for the 11:30 a.m. session.

If parents don’t have access to the internet or email they can complete the consent form attached; however, they are not registered until the form is received and entered into our system.
